Alkaline Safety Tips

Alkaline batteries are an excellent primary power source with  cost performance, making them suitable for use in multi purpose portable information devices, Emergency servies applications, Hospital enviroments, and audio-visual equipment.

• Misuse can result in the batteries leading to leakage. Please observe the following precautions when using batteries.
• Do not dispose in fire
• Do not  expose to high temperature.
• Do not under any circumstances insert the batteries with the positive and negative poles reversed.
• Do not recharge alkaline batteries
  
• Do not carry loose batteries in pockets
• Do not  place loose batteries in cabinet drawers were contact can be made with metal objects
• Do not disassemble or modify the battery.
• Do not directly solder the battery.
• Follow all SAFETY Instructions on battery package
  
• Do not use the battery if it shows signs of leakage, a change of color or shape or any other changes in appearance.
•  Do not expose to wet  water or sea water..
• Do not remove or damage the battery case.
• This battery contains an alkaline fluid. If this fluid comes in contact with skin or clothes, it may cause damage to the skin. So immediately wash it away with clean water.
• Store the battery out of reach of small children. If the battery is swallowed, immediately consult a doctor.
• When finished using the battery despose of in manner designated  by manufacture
•  When not using the battery store it in a dry place between the temperatures of -20oC and +35oC. This prevents leakage, rust and decreased battery performance and service life
•  Do not apply a strong force to the battery or throw it. 
•  Do not place the battery in direct sunlight, in hot cars, in front of stoves or other hot places.This may deteriorate the performance and service life of the battery
• Store the battery out of reach of small children.
• If a child is using the battery, the guardian must sufficiently inform the child of the contents of the instruction manual before use. The guardian must also ensure that it is being used as specified in the instruction manual.
